Books for Contractors

Research and preparation are quite possibly the two most important phases of a construction project. However, even the most exhaustive research and the most thorough preparation may not be enough to protect your interests if you do not hire competent contractors and work with good contract documents. In the litigious world of today, professional builders and contractors, as well as, homeowners and owner/builders need to think about the legal aspects of everything they do.

A contract may be of little need when all parties agree, and it is only as good as the judge or jury that interprets it when there are disagreements. Yet, a well written contract, which has been reviewed by a competent construction law and/or real estate attorney, is your best insurance that your construction project will be a successful one.
